Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 4: Bollywood came together on Thursday night for the special screening of Anurag Basu’s much-anticipated film Metro…In Dino, held in Mumbai. The film, touted as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 hit Life in a… Metro, drew a crowd of top stars in support of the ensemble cast.
Among those present were lead actors Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Ali Fazal.
Ali Fazal arrived hand-in-hand with wife Richa Chadha, both smiling for the cameras. Sara Ali Khan made a graceful appearance in a white ethnic suit, accompanied by her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan.
The event also saw Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan in attendance. The two actors, fresh off the promotions of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, enjoyed a cheerful reunion on the red carpet.
The trailer for Metro…In Dino, released last month, offered a glimpse into four parallel love stories set in an urban landscape. The film explores the romantic journeys of different age groups—from young couples to elderly pairs—played by a powerhouse cast
Konkona Sen Sharma reflected on working with Pankaj Tripathi for the first time.
“We were both a little shy on the first day,” she said. “But we quickly became comfortable. It was a pleasure to work with him, and Anurag always made the set feel easy and light-hearted.”
Metro…In Dino hits theatres this Friday, promising a modern tale of love, connection, and life in a bustling city.
