Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 18: Bollywood megastar Salman Khan will be the first guest on the much-awaited new season of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ on Netflix. The streaming platform dropped a hilarious promo on Wednesday, offering fans a glimpse of Salman in his most candid and comical avatar.
In the teaser, Kapil Sharma jokingly addressed Salman about his bachelorhood, saying, “Aamir bhai ne abhi fans ko introduce kiya apni girlfriend ke saath, woh ruk nahi rahe hain aur aap kar hi nahi rahe hain.” Salman responded in classic style, “Aamir ki baat hi kuch aur hai. He is a perfectionist. Jab tak woh marriage ko ekdum perfect nahi kar lega…”
The banter alluded to Aamir Khan’s recent public appearance with girlfriend Gauri Spratt, whom he introduced on his 60th birthday in March. The couple’s relationship has been in the limelight ever since.
Aamir Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira, and later to Kiran Rao, with whom he co-parents their son Azad.
On the work front, Aamir is set to appear in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ later this year, reportedly alongside Genelia D’Souza. He also revealed his deep interest in adapting the Mahabharat for the screen, sharing, “We are just starting with the writing process… so let’s see how that goes.”
