R Madhavan Says Rajinikanth & Ajith Taught Him To Embrace His Real Self: ‘If Grey Hair’s Here, So Be It’

R. Madhavan has taken a different approach in a profession that is typically obsessed with looking young. He says he never dyes his hair until a role calls for it. The actor said lately that he learned to accept his off-screen image from veterans Rajinikanth and Ajith Kumar. He is not worried by the expectation to look younger.

“I’m Not Good at Lying”
Madhavan said in an interview with ETimes, “I’m not good at carrying baggage, and I’m not good at carrying lies.” “Ab safed baal aa gaye toh aa gaye” means “If I have gray hair, then I have gray hair.” He said that both Rajinikanth and Ajith have influenced him. He said that they don’t care about how they appear off-screen, but they are “magic” on-screen.

The actor said that he is happy with who he is and how old he is, and that he is not attempting to compete with younger stars. “I’m not competing with someone who’s younger than me. He remarked, “I’m competing with my own ability and my ability to bring out the best in me.” “People accept me for who I am.”

Things to Do Next
Madhavan recently starred in the Netflix love drama Aap Jaisa Koi with Fatima Sana Shaikh. He has a lot of projects in the works, such the romantic comedy De De Pyaar De 2, which also stars Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Anshul Sharma is in charge of the movie, which will come out in theaters on November 14.

Madhavan will also star in Aditya Dhar’s action film Dhurandhar. The movie, which also stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal, takes place during a dangerous spy mission. It is slated to hit theaters on December 5
