Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 5: Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher recently shared a touching moment from the sets of his upcoming film Tumko Meri Kasam.
Taking to Instagram, Kher posted a video expressing his gratitude toward his co-star, Eesha Deol, for gifting him a special mirror.
In the video, Kher explained how, during the shoot, he had admired a mirror that Eesha was holding and jokingly commented on how handsome he looked in it. To his delight, Eesha later gifted him the very same mirror, a thoughtful gesture that caught him by surprise.
“Thank you dearest @imeshadeol for your warmth and generosity for presenting me the mirror I admired yesterday on the sets of Tumko Meri Kasam. That was prompt,” Kher wrote in his Instagram caption, adding a playful note that he would proudly carry the mirror on future film sets, crediting Eesha as its presenter. “You are the bestest. Love and prayers always,” he concluded.
Earlier this year, in August, Kher had shared a glimpse of the mahurat shot from Tumko Meri Kasam, expressing his gratitude to legendary director Mahesh Bhatt. Kher, who has worked with Bhatt on iconic films like Saaransh, Daddy, and Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, called it an honor to collaborate with him once again. “Honoured to be directed by one of the finest directors of Indian cinema for the symbolic mahurat shot of my 543rd film Tumko Meri Kasam!” Kher wrote.
Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Tumko Meri Kasam is an exciting new addition to Kher’s extensive filmography, marking another collaboration with Bhatt.
In addition to this project, Kher is currently filming The India House, a historical drama in which he portrays Shyamji Krishna Varma. The film, which centers around India’s fight for independence, stars Nikhil Siddhartha and is directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna. Kher is also preparing for his role in the upcoming film Tanvi The Great.
