Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh) [India]: In a heartfelt tribute to the Indian Armed Forces, renowned singer-composer B Praak will perform live ahead of the IPL match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) on Thursday at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala.

The event comes just a day after India’s precision strikes on terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) as part of Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack.
B Praak’s performance will include patriotic songs and soul-stirring anthems, aiming to echo the nation’s pride and honor the armed forces. Sharing the update, the official IPL handle on X posted:
“Dharamshala, get ready to sing with pride! B Praak brings the nation’s sound on a night of patriotism and notes echoing India’s spirit. With soulful melodies & powerful anthems, unite to celebrate our great culture. A tribute to the heart of Bharat!”
Logistical Changes and Rescheduling:
While Thursday’s match will proceed in Dharamshala after receiving clearance from the Indian government, the May 11 IPL fixture—originally scheduled at the same venue—has been moved to Mumbai due to logistical constraints.
Several flights in northern, northwestern, and central India have been canceled until May 10, prompting the BCCI to reassess travel arrangements for teams and officials. As a result, future matches at Dharamshala are under review, and the revised schedule will be announced soon.
