Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 5: Actor Vicky Kaushal has given fans a sneak peek of his upcoming song ‘Tufaan’ from his much-anticipated historical action film Chhaava. Composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman, the song is set to captivate audiences with its powerful composition.
Vicky Kaushal shared a black-and-white photo on Instagram with A.R. Rahman, building excitement for the upcoming track. Along with the post, Vicky wrote, “A storm is coming! #TOOFAN #ChhaavaOnFeb14,” hinting at the intensity of the song, which is expected to be a major highlight of the film.
The first track from Chhaava, titled ‘Jaane Tu’, was released last Friday during a music launch event in Hyderabad and has already garnered positive feedback. Vicky attended the event in Hyderabad, while Rashmika Mandanna, who is recovering from a leg injury, joined in a wheelchair.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is a period drama that tells the story of the legendary Maratha ruler, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, portrayed by Vicky Kaushal. Set to be released on February 14, the film will showcase Sambhaji Maharaj’s courageous reign, starting from his coronation in 1681. Akshaye Khanna also stars in the movie.
In a media interaction during the film’s promotion in Jaipur, Vicky spoke about the preparation required for his role in Chhaava. “A biopic needs a lot of preparation work not only for an actor but for the entire team. Working on a historical subject is really challenging because of the huge budget, and creating a different era on screen. We have tried to make it as realistic as possible,” Vicky said.
He added, “As an actor, the preparation is not only physical but also mental. There was action training, bodybuilding training, and also doing research on the history as it was important to understand that period.”
Chhaava is set to release in theatres on February 14, promising to be an exciting and visually stunning historical action film.
