Hyderabad (Telangana) [India]: Actor Rana Daggubati shared the first look of Virat Karrna as Rudhra from the highly anticipated pan-Indian film Nagabandham.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Rana revealed the poster featuring Karrna in a bold and rugged avatar. The poster showcases him shirtless, flaunting his six-pack abs, with curly hair, a beard, and a fierce expression. In a dramatic visual, Karrna is depicted battling a menacing crocodile in the ocean, holding the creature’s mouth open with his hands and a rope, epitomizing strength and fearlessness.
Nagabandham is helmed by director Abhishek Nama and produced by Kishore Annapureddy under NIK Studios, in collaboration with Abhishek Pictures. The movie promises a gripping story and an intense screenplay, set for release in five languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Currently in production, it is slated to hit theaters in 2025.
Legal Troubles for Rana Daggubati
While the buzz around Nagabandham continues to grow, Rana Daggubati finds himself in legal trouble. A complaint has been filed against the actor, producer D Venkatesh, and their family members over an alleged illegal property takeover in Filmnagar, Hyderabad.
Complainant K Nandukumar has accused the group of conspiring to unlawfully seize a leased property. Nandukumar claims to have invested approximately ₹20 crores in renovating the property, which he had taken on lease from the accused.
The case has been registered under sections 448, 452, and 458, read with section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The matter is currently under investigation, with proceedings pending in court.
