In a powerful extension of India’s global anti-terror outreach following Operation Sindoor, an all-party delegation led by NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) MP Supriya Sule is set to visit Qatar, South Africa, Ethiopia, and Egypt to highlight Pakistan’s long-standing role in promoting cross-border terrorism. Congress MP Manish Tewari, a member of this delegation, vowed to expose Pakistan’s 45-year-long conspiracy to destabilize India through state-sponsored terrorism.
“We all are going to different countries to expose Pakistan’s conspiracy—how they train terrorists, give them weapons, and send them across the border,” said Manish Tewari before departing.
Promoting Peace While Standing Firm Against Terror
Leading the group, Supriya Sule emphasized that the mission is rooted in India’s commitment to peace, friendship, and zero tolerance towards terrorism.
“We are going to give a message of peace and friendship… India has fought terrorism before and will continue to do so strongly,” said Sule.
Before their departure, the delegation was given a detailed strategic briefing by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, preparing them to effectively communicate India’s position during high-level engagements in the four nations.
India’s Global Anti-Terror Campaign Gathers Momentum
The Sule-led group is part of a broader multipronged diplomatic initiative that includes several all-party delegations sent across continents—from Russia to the Middle East—to garner international solidarity following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives.
Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7, was India’s precise military response targeting terror launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir, resulting in the elimination of over 100 terrorists linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen.
National Unity on the Global Stage
The Indian government has mobilized cross-party political consensus to amplify its anti-terror message. Besides the Sule-Tewari group:
- DMK MP Kanimozhi led a delegation to Russia and met former PM Mikhail Fradkov.
- Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde addressed a press conference in the UAE, urging international unity in confronting terrorism.
Each group underscores India’s united democratic front in conveying to the world that terrorism has no place in civil society, and that Pakistan must be held accountable for harboring and nurturing extremist groups.
India’s Message: Zero Tolerance for Terrorism
India’s message through these diplomatic missions is clear—terrorism, in any form, cannot be tolerated. The delegations will meet officials, civil society groups, and local media in host countries to:
- Expose Pakistan’s terror infrastructure,
- Highlight India’s commitment to global peace,
- And urge global cooperation in dismantling terror networks.
By turning tragedy into diplomacy, India is leveraging its moral authority and democratic unity to mobilize international opinion against the systemic threat posed by state-sponsored terrorism.
This initiative is not just about responding to one attack, but about reshaping the global narrative on terrorism—from condemnation to coordinated action.
