Trailer and Plot: A Clash Between Faith and Logic
Set in the 1980s, Shambala revolves around a mysterious incident where a meteor strikes a remote village named Shambala. Following the impact, a series of strange and unsettling events begin to plague the village, fueling fear and superstition among the locals.
Believing the occurrences to be the work of an evil supernatural force, the villagers call in a scientist to investigate. The scientist, an atheist who trusts only science and logic, dismisses the idea of supernatural powers.
However, soon after his arrival, several unexplained deaths occur, intensifying panic in the village. The locals begin to blame the scientist, accusing him of inviting disaster by questioning their traditional beliefs. What follows is a tense battle between blind faith and rational thinking, forming the core of the film’s gripping narrative.
