Mumbai (Maharashtra), February 24: Veteran filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali hosted a grand birthday bash on Monday evening, which was attended by a select group of close friends and several prominent members from the film industry.
Among the notable attendees were lovebirds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who were spotted arriving at the venue. Both actors looked effortlessly stylish as they posed for the photographers. The couple has already collaborated with Bhansali for his upcoming project Love and War, which will also feature actor Vicky Kaushal.
Vicky Kaushal was also present at Bhansali’s birthday celebration, marking another connection with the filmmaker ahead of their collaboration on Love and War. This movie will see Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali working together for the first time since Saawariya (2007). On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal will be working with Bhansali for the first time, while Alia Bhatt previously teamed up with the director for the 2022 drama Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Love and War was officially announced in January 2024, with the lead trio—Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal—signing off on the announcement, which read, “We Bring You Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Epic Saga ‘Love & War.’ See You At The Movies.”
Filming for Love and War is expected to begin in the coming months, and fans are eagerly awaiting the magical cinematic experience that Bhansali is known to deliver.
