PM Modi Urges ‘One Day As A Scientist’ Initiative for National Science Day, Lauds ISRO’s 100th Rocket Launch


New Delhi [India], February 23: In the 119th episode of his Mann ki Baat on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens to observe National Science Day with the initiative “One Day as a Scientist,” which he believes will ignite curiosity in youth about science.

PM Modi emphasized the importance of engaging youth in science, stating, “The interest and passion of our children and youth in science matter a lot. I have an idea regarding this, which can be called ‘one day as a scientist.’ Try spending one day as a scientist—visit a research lab, planetarium, or space center. This will increase your curiosity about science.”

The Prime Minister also lauded the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for marking a significant achievement with the successful launch of its 100th rocket.
