Railways Deploys Special Trains & Staff
- M Senthamil Selvan, CPRO (Southern Railways) confirmed:
- 28 special trains have been operated from major cities under Southern Railway for the Kumbh Mela.
- Three District Railway Managers (DRM) are stationed at Prayagraj to monitor railway operations.
- 18,000 railway personnel have been deployed for crowd and facility management.
UP Police Handles Unprecedented Crowds
- Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar praised the Herculean efforts of state police in managing the event.
- “Despite the challenges, UP Police personnel—from constables to senior officers—are working tirelessly to ensure smooth traffic, assist pilgrims, and maintain law and order.”

- Over 40 crore pilgrims have already taken a dip at the Sangam.
