New Delhi [India], December 10 : Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, on Tuesday underscored the importance of maintaining smooth parliamentary proceedings, despite ongoing disruptions. Rijiju highlighted that many MPs, including those from the Samajwadi Party, TMC, and Congress, have expressed their desire for debates and discussions in the House.
“Whatever the issues, we should not disrupt parliamentary proceedings. MPs from the Samajwadi Party, TMC, and Congress have approached me, expressing their interest in debate and discussion. It’s only Rahul Gandhi who seems uninterested in participating in parliamentary proceedings. He likely doesn’t believe in parliamentary democracy. All other MPs are eager to engage in debates and discussions,” Rijiju said.
The Minister criticized Rahul Gandhi for not addressing important issues and for his lack of understanding of the public’s concerns. “Rahul Gandhi doesn’t seem to care about the issues at hand or understand the struggles of the people. When Congress MPs approach me, I advise them to convince their leader. The government is not weak—we have the numbers. If important bills need to be passed, we will do so. But we want proper discussions and input from all MPs before proceeding,” Rijiju added.
Rijiju also responded to questions about the alleged links between George Soros and Congress leadership, stating that it was not merely an accusation by the BJP, but a matter of public record. “The connection between George Soros and Congress leadership is not an allegation from the BJP; it is documented in reports available to the public. Rahul Gandhi’s actions and activities are well known. This is a serious issue, not just for the BJP, but for the entire nation. Soros has openly declared a war against India and its government, aiming to harm our economy. This is a matter of grave concern for every Indian citizen, and it goes beyond just BJP interests,” he said.
