London [UK], April 23: Florence Pugh is all set to dazzle audiences with her performance in Marvel’s upcoming film Thunderbolts, which hits theaters this May. Speaking at the London premiere, the actress shared her excitement about the project—and her daring decision to perform all her own stunts.
In a standout moment, Pugh revealed she jumped from Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur—the second-tallest building in the world, standing at a staggering 2,227 feet.
“I saw it as an amazing life opportunity,” Pugh told Deadline. “As an actress, being able to be put in a situation where you get to do something like that—that’s huge. You gotta fight for it.”
The high-octane film features an ensemble cast including Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Hannah John-Kamen, David Harbour, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Thunderbolts centers on a band of antiheroes who are forced to team up for a perilous mission after being caught in a deadly trap.
The film is a part of Marvel’s ever-expanding cinematic universe and promises gritty action, intense character dynamics, and heart-pounding stunts—many of which Pugh boldly tackled herself.
