Tourists are enchanted by the serene, snow-covered landscape, with many calling the experience “a dream come true.” Families and groups of friends were seen joyfully engaging in snowball fights, while children eagerly built snowmen.
Some visitors lay in the snow, creating snow angels, while others captured the breathtaking scenery on their phones and cameras. Many trekked through the snow-covered meadows, savoring the crisp mountain air and the peaceful surroundings.
Comparisons to popular winter hotspots like Manali and Kasol were common, with visitors praising Bhaderwah’s clean and untouched snow.
A tourist shared their excitement, saying, “I wanted to visit Kashmir, and everybody suggested Bhaderwah. I had only seen such scenic places in movies, and today, I witnessed it myself. I am really ecstatic after watching the snow.”
Another visitor added, “I had seen such snow-clad mountains only in my dreams, and today, I experienced it here. Everyone should come and witness this beauty.”
A group of travelers from Katra expressed their delight: “We were planning to visit Kashmir, but after seeing so much snow here in Bhaderwah, we don’t want to leave this place.”

Connecting Bhaderwah in Jammu and Kashmir to Pathankot in Punjab via Basholi, the highway serves as a crucial link for transportation and trade while opening up new opportunities for tourism in the region.
