Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has once again shown his immense love and pride for his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, as the latter received an outpouring of love from the audience at the Tashkent Film Festival. Taking to Instagram, Big B shared a heartfelt message celebrating his son’s achievements.
“Abhishek, you being honoured in Tashkent, the love of the people there for you singing your songs… a very proud moment for me as a father… and now trending on number 1 for your latest #behappy… all blessings and love,” Amitabh wrote.
Abhishek’s participation in the festival went beyond acting, as he actively interacted with fans, engaged with the local media, and embraced Uzbek culture. His film Ghoomer was the centerpiece of the festival, receiving attention and appreciation.
This gesture of support from Amitabh Bachchan is not surprising, as the Bollywood icon has always expressed admiration for his son’s work. After the release of Abhishek’s film I Want to Talk, Amitabh penned a touching post on his personal blog, reflecting on how Abhishek’s portrayal of Arjun Sen in the film deeply moved him. He wrote, “Abhishek… you are not Abhishek… you are ARJUN SEN of the film. Let them say what they say.”
