Rajnath Singh’s Tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee
On December 25, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh paid homage to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Lucknow, recalling his legacy of good governance.
“Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s governance was appreciated all over the world. His leadership set the foundation for the nation’s progress and demonstrated how good governance could achieve transformational results,” Singh stated.
Good Governance and Achievements
Speaking on the essence of governance, Singh remarked,
“Governance can only be called good when it fulfils the body, mind, wealth, and soul. India’s progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been remarkable, lifting 25 crore people out of poverty in the last eight years.”
He also praised the Uttar Pradesh government for exemplifying good governance through initiatives in education, employment, and welfare schemes for the people.
The Armed Forces Flag Day CSR Conclave will serve as a platform to further these ideals, emphasizing support for the nation’s veterans and their families.
