Zoe Kravitz Joins David Leitch’s Heist Thriller ‘How To Rob a Bank’ Alongside Nicholas Hoult, Pete Davidson

Washington [US], May 13: Actress and filmmaker Zoe Kravitz has officially joined the cast of How To Rob a Bank, the upcoming heist thriller directed by David Leitch. The film marks a reunion between Kravitz and her Mad Max: Fury Road co-star Nicholas Hoult, who is also starring in the project.

Joining them are Pete Davidson, Anna Sawai, and Rhenzy Feliz. While the plot details remain mostly under wraps, the story reportedly follows clever bank robbers who livestream their heists on social media while skillfully dodging law enforcement, according to Deadline.

The film is scheduled for theatrical release on September 4, 2026.

Produced by David Leitch and Kelly McCormick’s 87 North banner, the project is being developed in collaboration with Imagine Entertainment. Producers include Leitch, McCormick, Brian Grazer, Jeb Brody, and Allan Mandelbaum. The script was penned by Mark Bianculli (Hunters, upcoming Cliffhanger reboot), who also serves as executive producer.

For Kravitz, this project continues her creative relationship with Amazon MGM Studios, following her directorial debut Blink Twice, which received positive reviews and solidified her status as a filmmaker to watch.

In addition to her role in How To Rob a Bank, Kravitz is also in discussions to direct How to Save a Marriage for Sony Pictures. The film is currently in development, with a script by Ross Evans and production led by Robert Pattinson and Brighton McCloskey through their Icki Eneo Arlo banner, alongside Geoff Shaevitz and Evan Silverberg of Entertainment 360. Plot details remain under wraps.

On the acting front, Kravitz will next appear opposite Austin Butler in Caught Stealing, a thriller directed by Darren Aronofsky.
