Washington [US]: After her directorial debut with Blink Twice, Zoe Kravitz is reportedly in talks to direct another high-profile project, How to Save a Marriage, for Sony Pictures.
The screenplay for the project was penned by Ross Evans, with Robert Pattinson producing alongside his partner Brighton McCloskey through their production company Icki Eneo Arlo. They are joined by Geoff Shaevitz and Evan Silverberg of Entertainment 360, who will also be part of the project, as reported by Deadline.
While plot details are currently being kept under wraps, sources indicate that the film is still in the development stage. The film’s edgy undertones are expected to echo the unique style that Kravitz showcased in her directorial debut, Blink Twice. As per the source, this is one of the key factors behind the decision to bring Kravitz on board as director for How to Save a Marriage.
Though Kravitz is still focused on her acting career, she displayed impressive directorial talent with Blink Twice, a psychological thriller released in August 2024. The film starred Naomi Ackie and Channing Tatum and garnered strong reviews, helping to solidify Kravitz’s position in the film industry as a capable director.
Blink Twice follows the story of Frida (played by Ackie), a cocktail waitress who becomes infatuated with tech billionaire Slater King (played by Tatum). She joins him on a trip to his private island, where strange and unsettling events begin to unfold. The movie, co-written by Kravitz and E.T. Feigenbaum, also features an ensemble cast that includes Alia Shawkat, Haley Joel Osment, Simon Rex, Geena Davis, Kyle MacLachlan, Christian Slater, and Adria Arjona.
On the acting front, Kravitz will next be seen in Darren Aronofsky’s thriller Caught Stealing, where she stars opposite Austin Butler, as reported by Deadline.
