Actor Kritika Kamra and television presenter-actor Gaurav Kapur tied the knot on March 11 in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends. The couple hosted the wedding at their home in Bandra, Mumbai, followed by a lively rooftop celebration for their guests.
The wedding turned into a star-studded affair with several well-known personalities from cricket and the film industry in attendance. Former Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag stole the spotlight as they danced enthusiastically during the celebrations. Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and actor Angad Bedi were also seen enjoying the party and joining the dance floor.
Videos from the wedding quickly surfaced on social media, capturing joyful moments from the celebration. In one clip, guests including Yuvraj, Sehwag, Farhan and Angad were seen dancing to Chris Brown’s popular 2007 track Forever. The group led the newlyweds to the rooftop party while dancing and cheering.
In the videos, Kritika and Gaurav are seen walking hand in hand as they make their entry to the celebration, smiling widely and later joining their friends on the dance floor.
A day after the wedding, actress Soha Ali Khan shared inside pictures from the ceremony on Instagram. The photos showed the newlyweds posing with friends and grooving with the bridesmaids. Kritika looked elegant in a red saree, while Gaurav wore a cream and gold outfit. The bridesmaids complemented the theme in cream and gold kasavu sarees.
Several other celebrities were also present at the wedding, including Malaika Arora, Neha Dhupia, Amrita Arora, former cricketer Ashish Nehra, designer Masaba Gupta, former cricketer Ajit Agarkar, Zaheer Khan with actor Sagarika Ghatge, and actor Pooja Gor, among many others.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds stepped out briefly to pose for paparazzi photographs before heading back inside for the celebrations. A small pooja ceremony was also performed as part of the wedding rituals.
