Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India]: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated a new soft drink bottling plant in Ayodhya, marking another milestone in the state’s industrial and economic growth.
Speaking at the event, CM Yogi highlighted the success of the “double engine” government, emphasizing the strong partnership between the central and state administrations under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
“Under PM Modi’s guidance, Ayodhya has become India’s first solar city. The newly inaugurated plant is equipped with 15 megawatts of solar panels, reducing carbon emissions and supporting global sustainability efforts,” Adityanath said.
The soft drink bottling plant is expected to generate significant employment opportunities in the region while catering to the demand for beverages in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttarakhand. The event, attended by several dignitaries, was seen as a key step in attracting further investments to Ayodhya.
Law & Order Transformation and Economic Growth
Earlier in the day, at the Mukhyamantri Yuva Uddyaami Vikas Abhiyaan (MYUVA) event, CM Yogi underscored the transformation of Uttar Pradesh’s law and order situation. He asserted that a state once plagued by riots has now become a hub of cultural and religious celebrations, drawing devotees from across the country and abroad.
“This is the same Uttar Pradesh where riots were once common. Today, instead of riots, we see grand celebrations in Ayodhya, Kashi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, and Chitrakoot, which attract millions of devotees. These festivals not only enrich our heritage but also create jobs,” Yogi stated.
Highlighting a decade of progress under BJP rule, the Chief Minister noted that Uttar Pradesh had aligned its growth trajectory with PM Modi’s vision. “In the past, young people here would hesitate to reveal their identity due to lack of opportunities. Today, those same youth are establishing their own businesses. Once a state with no industrial expansion, UP is now witnessing rapid industrialization,” he said.
Attack on Opposition & Future Vision
In a pointed remark at opposition parties, CM Yogi claimed that previous barriers to UP’s development had been systematically removed, paving the way for investment, employment, and economic self-reliance.
“Over the last eight years, all obstacles hindering UP’s progress have been eliminated. Today, young people are securing jobs, becoming entrepreneurs, and attracting investments. With a commitment to growth, this new UP of new India is dedicated to its farmers, economy, and self-sufficient youth,” he concluded.
With increased investments, infrastructure projects, and a focus on sustainable growth, Uttar Pradesh continues to position itself as a leading force in India’s economic and industrial landscape.
