Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 27: Fans of the hit romantic drama Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani are in for a nostalgic treat as the film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, will be re-released in theatres on January 3, 2025.
This re-release is part of a growing trend where classic films make a return to the big screen, following the success of the Kal Ho Naa Ho re-release earlier this year.
Earlier this month, Dharma Productions teased something related to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani on social media, sparking speculation about a potential sequel. However, the announcement clarified that, instead of a new installment, the 2013 hit would return to cinemas, giving a new generation of viewers the chance to enjoy this iconic film in theatres once again.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani became a huge hit, and continues to be adored by fans for its memorable performances, heartwarming story, and unforgettable soundtrack. Along with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, the film also starred Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur in key roles.
