Woman Police Constable Allegedly Killed By Brother In Telangana

A woman police constable was allegedly murdered by her brother on the outskirts of Rayapolu village in Ibrahimpatnam, Rangareddy district, police officials confirmed.

The victim, who had recently entered into an inter-caste love marriage, was attacked on December 2. Inspector of Ibrahimpatnam police station reported that the accused, identified as Paramesh, deliberately collided his car with the victim’s scooter before stabbing her to death.

An investigation into the case is ongoing, with further details awaited.

Another Incident in Rangareddy

Last month, a 24-year-old man, Vanga Naveen Reddy, reportedly died by suicide in the same district. Police stated that Reddy fell from the 13th floor of a building. The body was transferred to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The reason behind the suicide remains unclear, and authorities have registered a case to probe the circumstances.

These incidents underscore the need for continued vigilance and support systems to address underlying social and personal challenges in the region.
