Wiles Confirms Trump Is In Epstein Files, Citing “Young, Single Playboys” Status

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has confirmed that President Donald Trump’s name appears in the documents related to the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, according to extensive on-the-record interviews with Vanity Fair reported by the UK Independent.

Wiles, whom Trump reportedly refers to as the “ice maiden” and who previously managed his 2024 campaign, confirmed that she has personally reviewed what she termed “the Epstein file.”

Trump Mentioned, But No Wrongdoing Cited

Wiles’ confirmation regarding the President’s connection to Epstein’s records included these key statements:

  • Mention in Files: Trump “is mentioned in the file,” she confirmed, adding, “And we are aware of his presence in the file.”
  • No Wrongdoing: She explicitly asserted that Trump “is not mentioned in the file in connection with any wrongdoing.”
  • Flight Logs: Wiles further noted that Trump traveled on Epstein’s private aircraft, infamously known as the Lolita Express, and that his name is listed in the flight logs.
  • The “Playboy” Defense: To explain the connection, Wiles remarked that the duo were “sort of young, single playboys together,” acknowledging the term is “passé.”

Trump and Epstein were known to be members of the same affluent social circles in New York and Palm Beach, and were photographed together multiple times in the 1990s and 2000s. At one point, Epstein reportedly told author Michael Wolff that he was Trump’s “closest friend.” However, Trump has consistently asserted that he had a falling out with Epstein years ago and expelled him from his Mar-a-Lago club after Epstein allegedly recruited his spa employees.

Wiles’ “Chilling Admission” and Bondi Criticism

During her candid interviews with Vanity Fair, the Florida-born Chief of Staff made a “chilling admission” regarding the severity of the Epstein scandal, stating that she initially underestimated its significance:

“Whether he was an American CIA asset, a Mossad asset, whether all these rich, important men went to that nasty island and did unforgivable things to young girls,” she stated. “I mean, I kind of knew it, but it’s never anything I paid a bit of attention to.”

Wiles also used the interview to strongly criticize Attorney General Pam Bondi for her management of the Department of Justice’s inquiry into the Epstein files, suggesting Bondi “completely whiffed” on understanding the public interest and expectations surrounding the case.

Wiles’ comments, which also included sharp characterizations of other administration figures and a description of Trump’s drive as having “an alcoholic’s personality,” were released as the scandal surrounding Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial, undergoes renewed examination.

Following the publication of the extensive interview, Wiles released a statement on social media slamming the Vanity Fair article as a “disingenuously framed hit piece” that disregarded significant context.
