White House Posts ‘Superman Trump’ Image, Faces Backlash Over Epstein Files

In a move that sparked immediate online controversy, the White House on Thursday posted an edited photo of former President Donald Trump in a Superman costume on X (formerly Twitter), captioned:

“The symbol of hope. Truth. Justice. The American way. Superman Trump.”

The post coincided with the U.S. theatrical release of Superman, the latest film by Warner Bros. Pictures, which has been receiving mostly positive reviews. But the real-world reaction to “Superman Trump” was far more divided.

Backlash Over Epstein Files

While some Trump supporters celebrated the superhero depiction, critics were quick to question the symbolism, especially in light of renewed interest in the Epstein investigation.

“If he believed in Truth and Justice, the Epstein files would be released,” one user commented.
Another remarked, “Where’s the Epstein list if you stand for justice?”

The post received over 100,000 views within 15 minutes, but was swiftly overtaken by angry replies referencing Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking.

DOJ and FBI Say No ‘Client List’ Exists

Earlier this week, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI stated that Epstein did not maintain a so-called “client list.” Their investigation reaffirmed that he died by suicide in his Manhattan jail cell, a conclusion long disputed by conspiracy theorists and critics alike.

Yet skepticism remains. Many pointed to past public remarks from Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, both of whom have either implied or outright suggested there is more to be revealed.

In February, Bondi claimed on Fox News: “It’s sitting on my desk right now to review,” when asked about a list of Epstein associates.

Public Sentiment: Satire or Deflection?

Several social media users accused the White House of using the meme to deflect attention from mounting demands for transparency in the Epstein case.

“Superman would arrest the Epstein clients,” one user said bluntly.
Another added, “Truth? Justice? The American way? Start by naming the men who enabled Epstein.”

Despite the backlash, the post remains live as of Thursday evening, with no official comment from the White House.

Context

Trump’s controversial ties to Jeffrey Epstein and his estate have resurfaced repeatedly, especially after high-profile figures like Prince Andrew and Bill Gates were scrutinized for connections to the convicted sex offender.

The meme has now reignited calls for full disclosure, with critics demanding action, not imagery, in the name of “truth and justice.”
