Hyderabad, April 13: Abhishek Sharma announced himself in style with one of the most iconic innings in IPL history — a jaw-dropping 141 off 55 balls — as Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) chased down a mammoth 246-run target to crush Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Uppal Stadium.

With 14 boundaries and 10 towering sixes, the 24-year-old shattered multiple records en route to the highest individual score by an Indian in IPL history, surpassing KL Rahul’s 132*. His strike rate? A jaw-dropping 256.36.

  • Most sixes in an SRH innings – 10 (overtaking David Warner’s 8)
