New Delhi – Fourteen years after a public warning from Virat Kohli, the X (formerly Twitter) account of a longtime troll named @Ishaan3 has finally been suspended, drawing cheers from Kohli fans across social media.
The history of the feud dates back to December 6, 2011, when the Indian cricketer posted a stern warning to the user, who was allegedly using abusive language toward him.
“your account has been reported and will be deactivated soon. dont tweet if u wana use foul language(sic),” Kohli tweeted at the time.
Despite the warning, the X user remained defiant over the years, repeatedly mocking Kohli and gloating that his account had never been deactivated.

In 2016, he posted:
“Still I am on Twitter bro… 5… paanch saal ho gaye (it has been five years)”
And in 2020, he followed it up with:
“10 saal hogaye Kohli bhai.”
However, on Wednesday, screenshots began surfacing across the platform showing that the user’s account had finally been suspended. The exact date of the suspension is unclear, but fans quickly connected it to Kohli’s decade-old warning.
🎉 Fans Celebrate: ‘Golden Year for Kohli’
The suspension sparked a celebratory wave among Kohli supporters, many of whom called it poetic justice.
“Golden year for Virat Kohli… RCB ne trophy jeet li aur Ishaan ka account suspend ho gaya (RCB won the trophy and Ishaan’s account got suspended),” one user posted.
“Kohli winning every long due this year,” another fan added.
📌 Why Was the Account Suspended?
While X has not issued an official statement, account suspensions typically result from violations of platform rules concerning safety, harassment, privacy, or authenticity.
The saga serves as a reminder of how online conduct—even from over a decade ago—can eventually have consequences.
