Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], May 2: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star Virat Kohli made fans laugh with a cheeky comment about his teammates during a light-hearted meet-and-greet event ahead of RCB’s crucial IPL 2025 clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Swastik Chikara, 20, rose to fame after smashing a hat-trick of centuries in the UP T20 League 2023. Known for his lively presence and camaraderie with Kohli, he’s often seen carrying drinks and sharing jokes with the RCB icon—becoming a frequent subject of memes on social media.
When asked who he would enjoy as a roommate, Kohli picked Jitesh Sharma, the team’s wicketkeeper-batter, describing him as “funny” and “street-smart.”
“One guy I think is really funny, but he has not opened up with me properly, is Jitesh. I want to see that really fun, raw side of him because I can see it in his eyes; he has that mischief about him,” Kohli said. “He is very street smart; you can see on the field that he finds different ways of looking at things. So, I would like to get to know him more.”
Virat Kohli continues to shine this IPL season, currently sitting third on the list of top run-scorers with 443 runs in 10 innings, averaging 63.28 with a strike rate nearing 139. He has notched up six fifties, with a best of 73 not out*.
RCB are currently second on the points table, with seven wins and three losses, and will next face CSK at home this Saturday in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
