Mumbai: The latest season of the reality show Bigg Boss is once again delivering on its promise of drama and conflict, with a recent captaincy task sparking a heated physical confrontation between contestants Tanya Mittal and Nehal Chudasama. The altercation has led to strong criticism of Tanya online, with viewers taking to social media to call out her aggressive behavior and verbal attacks.
The task, which saw contestants play “lootere” (dacoits), required them to collect gold biscuits and defend their team’s sacks from being stolen. During the task, while Nehal tried to steal sacks from Tanya’s team, Tanya aggressively defended them, pushing and kicking Nehal. This physical aggression was accompanied by verbal abuse, as Tanya was heard making some controversial remarks.
“Iske jaise main roz uthake patakti hoon, aaye kabhi factory mein (I pick up and slam people like her every day, let her come to the factory once),” Tanya reportedly said. She further added, “Roz maarte hain aison ko aur Chambal ki nadi mein fenk dete hain (We beat such people daily and throw them into the Chambal river).”
These comments have drawn the ire of viewers, who believe they reveal a cruel side to Tanya’s personality and suggest she might mistreat her employees. Social media was flooded with comments, with one user calling her “so uncivilised” and another labeling her as “vile and pathetic.” Many viewers expressed their disgust, with comments like “She’s evil” and “She’s a bully under that façade.” One viewer noted, “I don’t know how Nehal controlled herself,” while another said, “This is so cheap! Tanya showed her true colours in the task today.” The controversy has also led to speculation among fans that host Salman Khan might address her behavior on the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
This is not the first time Tanya has been in the spotlight for her behavior and claims on the show. She has previously made headlines for her statements about her lavish lifestyle, including having numerous bodyguards and a house with a lift in the kitchen, which have been widely trolled online.
