Washington DC, July 15: Bollywood action star Vidyut Jammwal is reportedly set to join the cast of Legendary Entertainment’s upcoming live-action adaptation of ‘Street Fighter’, based on Capcom’s iconic video game series, as per a report by Deadline.
Though an official announcement from the studio is pending, sources indicate that Vidyut has been cast as Dhalsim, the fire-wielding Indian yogi first introduced in Street Fighter II (1991). The character is known for his spiritual wisdom and unique combat style, using stretching limbs and flame-based attacks in battle, all while maintaining a fundamentally peaceful disposition.
