Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) [India], February 13: Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, February 13: Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal made a spiritual visit to the Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, where he took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers, on Thursday.
Expressing his reverence for the event, Vicky shared, “I am feeling good. I was waiting to visit Mahakumbh. I am fortunate as I got the opportunity to come here.” His visit comes ahead of the release of his upcoming historical film ‘Chhaava’, which tells the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the renowned Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar and starring Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna, is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2025.
Massive Devotee Turnout at Mahakumbh 2025
According to Uttar Pradesh government officials, over 1.47 million devotees took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on Thursday alone. This includes 500,000 Kalpavasis—devotees who have been residing on the banks of the Ganga during the event—and nearly 979,000 pilgrims who are participating in the ongoing Mahakumbh. The event continues to draw massive crowds from all over the world, making it one of the largest religious gatherings globally.
As of February 12, the total number of devotees who have dipped in the sacred waters of the Triveni Sangam has surpassed 482.9 million, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing Mahakumbh 2025.

Mahakumbh 2025, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13, 2025), is the world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering, and it will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26, 2025. The event has been a magnet for millions of devotees seeking spiritual purification and blessings.
