WASHINGTON, D.C.- US Vice President JD Vance stated on Sunday that he will host the first episode of The Charlie Kirk Show since the terrible loss of its 31-year-old founder. This was a moving homage to his late friend and fellow conservative leader. The special episode will air on Monday, bringing the podcast back to the airwaves after a short break following Kirk’s death.
Vance posted the news on his official X account, saying, “Tomorrow, I will have the honor of hosting the Charlie Kirk Show.” Please join me in honoring my friend. He also included a picture of a microphone on a desk, which makes it look like he has already recorded the episode.
The episode should be available on Monday at 12 p.m. ET and may be found on The Charlie Kirk Show’s official X and Rumble accounts.
Since the Turning Point USA founder died in a car accident on September 12, Vance has been there for Kirk’s family, particularly his wife Erika Kirk. The Vice President’s many public and private actions showed how close they were. Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, have been there for Erika Kirk as she deals with her bereavement.
Vance also played a very personal part in honoring Kirk’s death. He personally brought Kirk’s casket on Air Force Two, which flew it from Utah, where the assassination happened, to his home state of Arizona. Vance also made sure that Kirk got full military honors at his funeral, even though he had never served in the military.
Vance will now pay his last tribute by sitting in the host’s chair for a day. This will make sure that The Charlie Kirk Show, a platform for conservative ideas, continues to reach its audience.
