Mumbai (Maharashtra), July 14 – Fans eagerly awaiting the release of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ will have to wait a little longer. Originally scheduled for a September 2025 release, the romantic thriller will now hit theatres on October 2, 2025, as officially announced by the filmmakers on Monday.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is produced by Dharma Productions, with key names including Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan himself.
The announcement was made via Instagram, where the makers shared Varun Dhawan’s character poster, featuring him in a cheerful mood, flashing a ‘namaste’ gesture. The caption included a poetic line from the film:
“Sunny Sanskari ki shaayari – Yeh aansoon hain mere, samundar ka jal nahin… Baarish ka kya bharosa, aaj hai… kal nahi!”
