Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Slams AAP Over ‘Fake’ Promises

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday launched a fierce attack on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of making false promises on key issues such as education, healthcare, employment, and pollution control.

Speaking at a public rally in support of BJP candidate Parvesh Verma in the New Delhi Assembly constituency, CM Dhami criticized AAP’s failure to clean the Yamuna River, a key environmental promise made by the party.

“The AAP candidate from this constituency who is also the former Chief Minister made big promises, but they were all fake. He promised to open new schools, Mohalla Clinics, provide jobs, make Delhi pollution-free, and clean the Yamuna. The Yamuna hasn’t been cleaned. Instead of taking responsibility, they are blaming Haryana for it,” Dhami said.

BJP’s Parvesh Verma Files Complaint Against Kejriwal

BJP candidate Parvesh Verma, who is contesting against AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal and Congress’ Sandeep Dikshit, has filed a corruption complaint against Kejriwal regarding the Delhi Sports University (DSU).

Verma’s complaint to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) alleges misappropriation of public funds and abuse of official position for wrongful benefits.

His lawyer, Vivek Garg, called it “a huge fraud”, stating that the complaint was necessary to expose financial irregularities within the Kejriwal-led administration.

AAP Hits Back, Accuses BJP’s Parvesh Verma of Bribery

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann came to Kejriwal’s defense, slamming raids conducted at the residences of AAP leaders, including his own Kapurthala House residence in Delhi.

Mann accused BJP’s Parvesh Verma of openly distributing cash ahead of elections and questioned why authorities were targeting AAP leaders instead.

“Parvesh Verma is openly distributing cash, but authorities are ignoring it. Meanwhile, they conduct raids at my residence, Kejriwal’s house, and Saurabh Bharadwaj’s home. Are we criminals? What have we done?” Mann stated at a rally in Greater Kailash.

However, Election Commission sources denied conducting any raid on Bhagwant Mann’s residence, stating that they had only received a complaint about cash distribution in the constituency.
