With just days to go before the Delhi Assembly elections on February 5, political campaigns have intensified. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami rallied in Uttam Nagar on Sunday, urging voters to support BJP candidate Pawan Sharma and ensure the formation of a “double-engine government” in Delhi.
Dhami Slams AAP, Calls for BJP-led Development
Speaking at a public meeting, CM Dhami accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress of misleading Delhiites with hollow promises and corruption.
“The people of Delhi have now realized the truth behind AAP’s fake promises. Their shop of deceit and false assurances is about to shut down. This time, Delhiites are determined to elect a BJP-led double-engine government,” Dhami said.
He emphasized that a BJP government in both Delhi and the Centre would ensure rapid development, stable governance, and better infrastructure in the national capital.
AAP’s Failures: Education, Healthcare, Yamuna River
Taking a direct dig at former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, CM Dhami accused AAP of failing to deliver on education, healthcare, employment, and pollution control.
🔹 Yamuna River Pollution: “AAP promised to clean the Yamuna, but instead of taking responsibility, they keep blaming Haryana. The river remains heavily polluted under their governance.”
🔹 Failed Welfare Schemes: “AAP’s promises of better healthcare and education have turned out to be gimmicks. The people of Delhi are tired of their lies.”
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Joins BJP’s Campaign
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also campaigned door-to-door on Sunday, stressing the need to restore Delhi’s cultural and historical legacy under a BJP government.
“Delhi’s harmony, culture, and historic tradition must be revived. The people have decided to vote for BJP to ensure the city’s progress,” Vaishnaw said.
Three-Way Battle: BJP vs AAP vs Congress
The Delhi Assembly elections on February 5 will witness a triangular contest between:
📌 Ruling AAP – Led by Arvind Kejriwal’s government
📌 Main Opposition BJP – Banking on Modi’s leadership and the ‘double-engine’ promise
📌 Congress – Struggling to regain relevance in Delhi politics
With just days left, BJP is doubling down on its campaign against AAP’s governance, while AAP fights to maintain its hold on Delhi.
Will Delhi vote for change, or will AAP retain power once again? The results on February 8 will reveal the fate of the national capital’s governance.
