The advertisements featured an image of Modi and Trump together, with the bold caption: “Two Great Nations, One Unbreakable Bond.” Additionally, it included quotes from both leaders emphasizing the strength of India-US ties.
President Trump remarked:
“It is your faith in the strength of a free society, your confidence in your people, your trust in your own citizens, and your respect for the dignity of every person that makes the United States and India such a natural, beautiful, enduring friendship.”
PM Modi highlighted the evolving relationship between the two nations:
“As two democracies, that are world’s largest and oldest, we are natural partners. The progress that has taken place in our relations, the new momentum that has been created, has been hard to even imagine a few decades ago.”
Prime Minister Modi, currently on a two-day visit to the US, is scheduled to meet President Trump at the White House. This marks his first visit since Trump assumed office for the second term. Upon his arrival, PM Modi was received by India’s Ambassador to the US, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, along with other officials.
Ahead of his visit, PM Modi expressed optimism about strengthening the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. He emphasized that this visit would build upon past successes and explore new avenues to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
