Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hosted the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) team at his residence on Monday. He interacted with the players, coaching staff, and franchise owner Sanjiv Goenka, extending his best wishes for the upcoming season.
LSG is set to kick off its campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 24 in Visakhapatnam, with Rishabh Pant leading the side as the new captain.
During the visit, Yogi Adityanath felicitated the entire team, including the coaching staff and management, to commemorate the occasion. The event saw lively discussions between the players and the Chief Minister, highlighting the growing cricket culture in Uttar Pradesh.
