UP CM Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates Sifi Data Centre, Highlights 33 Sectoral Policies For Business Growth

Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], March 8: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Sifi Data Centre in Greater Noida on Saturday, emphasizing the state’s significant progress in facilitating business development through sector-specific policies. The state has formulated 33 Sectoral Policies designed to promote business ease, a move that marks a major leap in enhancing the state’s business environment.

Speaking at the inauguration, CM Yogi Adityanath stated, “As per the global scenario, we have formulated policies on the technology required by today’s modern era and the youth, through research and development. We have come forward with 33 Sectoral Policies. Today, we have taken a big leap in the ease of doing business. We have implemented investments worth Rs 15 lakh crores, which has given jobs to lakhs of youths in the state itself.”

The Chief Minister further highlighted that Uttar Pradesh has become a leader in business facilitation, creating over 500 single-window systems for ease of doing business. “We have taken it forward through the Nivesh Sarathi portal to monitor MoUs,” he added.

Yogi Adityanath also lauded the state’s emergence as the country’s biggest IT and electronics hub. He revealed that Uttar Pradesh is now a leading force in mobile manufacturing, supplying 65 to 70 percent of India’s mobile production and 55 percent of the country’s mobile electronic components. “A large part of India’s electronic items are being manufactured in Uttar Pradesh, especially Noida and Greater Noida, which have become its hub,” he remarked.

Looking ahead, CM Yogi expressed optimism about the establishment of an artificial intelligence data center in Lucknow.

Earlier this week, Yogi Adityanath also inaugurated a joint credit camp for the Gorakhpur and Basti divisions under the Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan. The initiative aims to provide loans to young entrepreneurs, further advancing Uttar Pradesh’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship in the state.
