Gaza City [Palestine], July 4 : The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has issued a dire warning, stating that for the people of Gaza, everything is running out — including time, food, and medicine — while safe places have already vanished.
In an urgent statement, UNRWA highlighted the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation across the Gaza Strip. Reports have emerged of people collapsing in the streets due to extreme hunger and the critical shortage of basic necessities.
In a tragic escalation, 19 Palestinian civilians were killed and several others injured in the early hours of Friday following a series of Israeli airstrikes that hit various areas across Gaza.
Local sources reported that at least 15 Palestinians were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted tents sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area, located west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Most of the casualties were from the Abu Khadija family, whose tent near the Taiba Towers suffered a direct hit during the strikes.
