New Delhi [India], February 21: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, speaking at the inaugural edition of the School of Ultimate Leadership (SOUL) Leadership Conclave, emphasized the aspirations of India’s youth and their commitment to achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’.
Vaishnaw stressed the significance of bridging the gap between the current and future generations, encouraging meaningful engagement between youth and leaders from various sectors such as industry, government, politics, and academia. “There are many aspirations among the youth of our country, and they are eager to fulfill the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ set by our Prime Minister. The sessions at SOUL allow the youth to connect with leaders from diverse fields, helping establish a link between the current generation and the one to come,” he said in an interview with ANI.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who earlier addressed the conclave, expressed his hope that the School of Ultimate Leadership would nurture great leaders who would excel in various fields. He referred to the establishment of SOUL as a significant step in India’s journey toward ‘Viksit Bharat’. “The development of citizens and leaders across various fields is crucial for nation building. The creation of SOUL is an important milestone toward achieving this goal,” PM Modi remarked.
He also shared that the large SOUL campus near GIFT city would soon be ready and would set new benchmarks in leadership education. The institution, according to PM Modi, will play a key role in leadership development, particularly in architecture.
The two-day SOUL Leadership Conclave, taking place from February 21-22, brings together thought leaders from politics, sports, arts, media, spirituality, public policy, business, and the social sector. The event provides a platform for these leaders to share their life experiences and discuss key aspects of leadership.
