New Delhi [India], February 5: Two women have filed lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing the music mogul of sexual assault, abuse, and coercion, according to a report by Billboard. The lawsuits, filed in New York, detail multiple incidents allegedly occurring during the 1990s.
The first woman, identified as an active member of New York’s hip-hop industry at the time, claims she was drugged and coerced into sexual activities at Combs’ parties. She describes being sexually assaulted at a “shadow party” at a New York bar and later at the Limelight nightclub. According to the woman, she was taken to a Trump Hotel penthouse, where she was assaulted by Combs’ security guard while Combs allegedly watched. She further claims that she was pressured to take drugs and forced into a group sex activity that she did not consent to.
The second woman, also part of the hip-hop scene, alleges similar events. She describes being drugged and coerced into sexual acts at the Limelight club, with Combs watching. The woman further claims she was raped by a club promoter at Combs’ direction. In addition, she recounts an incident in 1997 when she was hired as a bottle-service attendant at a party hosted by Combs in the Hamptons. She alleges that she was encouraged to drink and take marijuana, which caused her to become disoriented. During this time, she says she was sexually assaulted and raped by Combs’ associates while Combs was present.
In response, Combs’ legal team has denied the allegations, dismissing them as “publicity stunts.” They asserted that Combs has full confidence in the legal process and stated that the truth will prevail in court. The statement further clarified that Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone, regardless of gender or age.
Currently, Combs is incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he awaits his criminal trial set to begin on May 5. He faces multiple charges, including operating a criminal enterprise, drugging victims, and using violence to silence them. If convicted, Combs could face life in prison.
