MUMBAI — Bollywood’s most honest couple’s admirers may now stop waiting. The teaser for Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s upcoming talk show, Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, has come out. It gives a great look at the unscripted conversations that will be the show’s main focus. The show will be accessible to stream in India and 240 other countries and territories across the world starting September 25 on Amazon Prime Video. A new episode will come out every Thursday.
The trailer shows that there will be a lot of famous people as guests, including some of the biggest names in the business. Fans may look forward to watching the fraternal bond between Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, the funny back-and-forth between Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor, and the “student-to-superstar” path of Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. There will also be talks with Kriti Sanon, Vicky Kaushal, and the famous Govinda, among others.
This is the debut chat program for both hosts. Kajol said in a press letter from Prime Video that the idea came about naturally because she and Twinkle are friends. “We’ve known each other for a long time, and every time we talk, it’s a beautiful mess,” she added. “We’ve changed the standard talk show format by getting rid of the single presenter, the set questions, and the safe, planned replies. It’s uncensored and unapologetic on Two Much.
Twinkle Khanna, who is famed for her biting wit and “Mrs. Funnybones” persona, agreed with what her co-host said. “This isn’t about rehearsed answers or perfect pictures,” she said. “It’s about being spontaneous, real, and a little bit naughty.” She went on to say that the show will address the issues that “everyone wants answers to” and that even the most “guarded personalities” will let their walls down.
Banijay Asia makes the series, which is an original, unscripted show for Amazon Prime Video. The goal is to give celebrity talk shows a new look by focusing on real, funny, and relevant talks. Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle is going to be a must-see for Bollywood fans because of its innovative structure and guest list that includes both industry stalwarts and current favorites.
