In Los Angeles, CA – There was a mass shooting in downtown Los Angeles early Monday morning that killed two people and hurt six others. Officials said the event happened during what looked like an unofficial after-party for the Hard Summer music festival. It shocked the town and led to a huge police investigation.
The events started on Sunday, August 3, 2025, about 11 p.m. PDT, when LAPD officers on patrol saw someone rushing into a building in a downtown warehouse district. There was a big party going on with about 50 to 60 individuals. Officer Letisia Ruiz of the LAPD told media that someone was arrested at the scene for having guns. Violence Starts Again After Police Response
