Washington DC, July 2, 2025: Popular TV personality Tyler Henry has shared a positive health update following his recent brain tumour surgery. Speaking to E! News, Henry said he is “doing much better” one month after doctors removed a non-cancerous, fluid-filled cyst located near the centre of his brain.
Henry, known for starring in Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry and Life After Death with Tyler Henry, revealed he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a condition where fluid accumulates around the brain, causing inflammation.
“I’m very lucky,” he said, adding that the type of tumour he had has an incidence rate of “one in 3 million.”
The medium expressed amazement at his rapid recovery. Just weeks after his operation, he was back on stage performing readings for his “An Evening of Hope and Healing” live show series.
“I was worried that anything related to the brain might affect my ability,” he shared, “but I found that not having brain inflammation actually made things a lot clearer.”
Tyler also opened up about the troubling symptoms he experienced before the surgery, including feeling disoriented, having slow responses, and dealing with aphasia — a language disorder that made it difficult to find words.
This isn’t the first time Henry has faced brain-related health issues. He recounted his teenage struggle with an arachnoid cyst, a benign mass on the protective membrane surrounding the brain and spinal cord.
“When I was 18, I underwent brain surgery endoscopically, and it took about 10 years for it to come back after it resealed,” he said.
Henry’s candid reflections highlight both the challenges he faced and his resilience as he continues his work connecting with audiences through his psychic readings.
