Trump To Host Tech Titans At White House Dinner, Notable AI Leaders On Guest List Except Musk

This Thursday, President Donald Trump will throw a huge dinner at the White House for some of the top names in technology and artificial intelligence. The event is likely to have a lot of famous CEOs and executives from the most important companies in the field.

The Guest List and a Key Absence
The White House has revealed that the guest list is full of tech heavyweights. Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, and Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, will all be there. Some other well-known people who will be at the event are Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, and Greg Brockman, the creator of OpenAI.

But one name is clearly missing: Elon Musk. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX used to be a close friend of the president and was in charge of the Department of Government Efficiency. Earlier this year, the two had a public fight, and Musk’s absence is a clear sign that their relationship is over.

A Meeting and a New Place
Trump recently paved over the Rose Garden with a patio, and that’s where the dinner will be hosted. Davis Ingle, a spokesman for the White House, said in a statement that the new area was “the hottest place to be in Washington” and that the president was excited to host business and tech leaders there.

The event comes after the first meeting of the White House’s new Artificial Intelligence Education Task Force, which will be led by First Lady Melania Trump. A number of people who were at the dinner are anticipated to go to the task force meeting, which is meant to help develop AI education for American kids.

There are also guests during the dinner:

David Limp is the CEO of Blue Origin.

Sanjay Mehrotra is the CEO of Micron.

Chairman of TIBCO Software Vivek Ranadive

Shyam Sankar is an executive of Palantir.

Alexandr Wang is the founder and CEO of Scale AI.

Jared Isaacman is the CEO of Shift4 Payments.

Trump chose Isaacman, who used to work with Musk, to run NASA, but the choice was taken back about the time the president publicly broke up with Musk.
