Trump Orders Obama And Bush Portraits Moved To Less Prominent Location

WASHINGTON, D.C.: President Donald Trump has ordered that the portraits of past presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush be taken down from their usual places in the White House’s front entrance. The paintings, along with the one of George H.W. Bush, have been moved to a restricted area at the top of the Grand Staircase that the public doesn’t often see.

The rules and customs of the White House say that the pictures of the most recent presidents should be displayed most prominently at the entrance to the executive mansion. This location lets guests and others on tours see them. The new location on the second story of the White House, which connects the State story to the family’s private house, is only open to members of the First Family, the Secret Service, and some White House staff. This maneuver essentially hides the portraits of the last three presidents from view.

The Obama image has been moved before during Trump’s presidency. In April, it was moved to the other side of the White House entryway to make room for an image of Trump that honors the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Many people on social media site X have called the choice “insecure,” which has led to criticism. One person said, “Trump has to be the most insecure president in US history,” and another said, “Trump is one of the most insecure presidents in history.” Some of Trump’s supporters, on the other hand, have said they agree, with one X user saying, “Good, very good—where they belong, down the pecking order in history.”

This action is a continuation of the tense relationship between Trump and his predecessors, especially Barack Obama. The President recently made harsh comments about Obama from the Oval Office, saying that he was “treasonous” in light of a fresh assessment by his intelligence director, Tulsi Gabbard. The study was meant to make people question what has long been known about Moscow’s role in the 2016 election.

Many people have written about how Trump is always involved in the design and decoration of the White House. This includes a new ballroom that he is paying for with a $200 million donation and the recent makeover of the Rose Garden. People consider the removal of the presidential portraits as another illustration of how this person’s taste has affected the White House’s historical and aesthetic display.
