Trump Issues Warning To Hamas Over Hostage Crisis: “ALL HELL TO PAY”

Washington DC [US]: US President-elect Donald Trump delivered a strong ultimatum to Hamas concerning the release of hostages held in the Middle East. Posting on Truth Social, Trump warned of severe consequences if the hostages are not freed before January 20, 2025, the day he officially assumes the presidency.

“Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity,” Trump declared.

Criticism of Inaction

Trump criticized previous diplomatic efforts, stating they had been ineffective, and underscored the urgent need for action.
“Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire World, in the Middle East – But it’s all talk, and no action!” he said.

Promise of Retaliation

The President-elect vowed decisive action against those responsible for the hostage situation, promising unprecedented measures.
“Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!” he added.

Background

On October 7, Hamas launched an attack on Israel, killing over 1,200 people and abducting more than 250 hostages. While many hostages have been released or accounted for, over 100 remain in captivity, with fears of fatalities among them.

In retaliation, Israel launched a military campaign against Hamas in Gaza, resulting in extensive casualties, including over 45,000 Palestinians.
