In a sharply worded post distancing himself from the Georgia lawmaker, Trump labeled her “wacky” and a “ranting lunatic,” marking a dramatic shift in their once close political alliance. The feud escalated quickly, with Trump later referring to her as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene.” Greene, in response, accused the president of creating an atmosphere that could incite death threats against her.
The split underscores deeper ideological divisions between the two figures. Greene has criticized U.S. support for Israel during the Gaza conflict, urging the administration to focus resources on domestic issues.
