Trump Denies $30 Billion Nuclear Deal with Iran, Calls It a ‘Fake News Hoax’

Amid heightened tensions after Operation Midnight Hammer, Trump slams media for suggesting his administration proposed a $30 billion civilian nuclear deal with Iran.

Washington D.C. [US], June 29 — Former US President Donald Trump has vehemently denied reports that his administration is considering a $30 billion deal with Iran to help develop civilian nuclear facilities. The claim, which surfaced through unnamed sources, was dismissed by Trump as “fake news” and a “hoax” aimed at tarnishing his image.

In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump wrote:

“Who in the Fake News Media is the SleazeBag saying that ‘President Trump wants to give Iran $30 Billion to build non-military Nuclear facilities’? Never heard of this ridiculous idea. It’s just another HOAX put out by the Fake News in order to demean. These people are SICK!!!”

Trump’s post comes amid lingering geopolitical instability following Operation Midnight Hammer, a recent joint US-Israel military strike that reportedly obliterated three major Iranian nuclear facilitiesFordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

In a separate post, Trump expanded on the military offensive and responded directly to remarks made by Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“Why would the so-called ‘Supreme Leader,’ Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, of the war-torn Country of Iran, say so blatantly and foolishly that he won the War with Israel, when he knows his statement is a lie? It is not so. As a man of great faith, he is not supposed to lie. His Country was decimated, his three evil Nuclear Sites were OBLITERATED, and I knew EXACTLY where he was sheltered…”

Trump then went on to say that despite having the ability to eliminate Khamenei, he had personally stopped Israel and U.S. forces from conducting what he described as the “biggest attack of the war.”

“I SAVED HIM FROM A VERY UGLY AND IGNOMINIOUS DEATH, and he does not have to say, ‘THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP!’ In fact, in the final act of the War, I demanded that Israel bring back a very large group of planes, which were heading directly to Tehran, looking for a big day, perhaps the final knockout! Tremendous damage would have ensued, and many Iranians would have been killed.”

Trump’s revelations suggest he played a pivotal role in preventing further escalation in the final stages of the US-Iran-Israel conflict, even while reinforcing his position that Iran’s leadership was on the brink of collapse.

His denial of any diplomatic or financial overture toward Tehran comes as Operation Midnight Hammer continues to reshape political rhetoric in Washington and military doctrine in the Middle East.
