Travis Scott Set for Electrifying Debut Concert in Delhi; 3,400 Security Personnel Deployed

Preparations are underway for rap superstar Travis Scott’s highly anticipated debut concert in Delhi this weekend, marking his first-ever performance in India. On Friday, BookMyShow signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi Tourism to promote the growing ‘concert economy’ in the country.

To ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the event, over 3,400 security personnel—including 1,600 private guards and 1,200–1,800 Delhi Police officers—have been deployed across the venue for both concert days, ANI reported.

Authorities have coordinated closely on traffic diversions, parking management, and crowd control to provide fans with a seamless concert experience.

Travis Scott’s “CIRCUS MAXIMUS World Tour” will take place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 18 and 19, with shows starting at 5 PM and gates opening at 3 PM. A DJ and supporting act will perform before Travis takes the stage at 8 PM. Ticket prices range from ₹4,000 to ₹30,000, and as of now, ₹4,000 and ₹8,000 tickets for Sunday are sold out.

Following Delhi, Travis will perform in Mumbai on November 19 at Mahalaxmi Race Course, with tickets priced between ₹7,000 and ₹35,000. The minimum age limit for both concerts is 10 years.

In August, Travis made headlines after reportedly being denied entry to a private party in Ibiza, where actor Leonardo DiCaprio was also briefly held up during a police check outside the venue.
